At Aavot.in, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we have implemented the following policy for handling claims of copyright infringement.
Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on Aavot.in, please notify our designated Copyright Agent with the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed. Please provide a detailed description of the work and, if possible, a copy or the URL where it is available.
- Identification of the material that you claim is infringing and needs to be removed or access to which needs to be disabled. Please provide a detailed description of the material, including the URL or other specific location on Aavot.in where the material is located.
- Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-Notification
If you believe that your material has been removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our Copyright Agent. The counter-notification must include the following information:
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, or if your address is outside of the United States, the jurisdiction of the federal court in any district in which Aavot.in may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification or an agent of such person.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the person who filed the original notification. If that person does not file a lawsuit seeking a court order against the alleged infringer within 10 business days of receiving the counter-notification, we will restore the removed material or cease disabling access to it.
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the website and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
